Is there no one who can tell how to install an extra amplifier???
Do the headunit have normal low-level line out or is it some
BMW specific?
Is it posible to use the line out from the original amp?
Anyone???
The Logic 7 system uses optical lines to send the audio to the nine channel L7 amp. All outputs are crossed over/equalized based on volume and speed. If you want use an aftermarket amp you would need to use an 8 channel signal summing devise and EQ such as the Audio Control DQL8 or JBL's version of that product. For anyone with the HI-Fi system the radio has four speaker level outputs that could be used as an RCA but would likely need a line out converter to get the signal level down to the amps recommended input voltage. The Hi-Fi system has an amp but just for the subwoofers so the radio wires would be your front and rear and the sub signal would be from the amp output. A EQ/Sum devise still would help but is not as crucial as with the L7 system.

Thank you
Sorry, Ive been away.... To install the amp you need to find which outputs on the stock amp are for the subwoofer and then you take a line out converter and connect it to the new amp. This way, your on screen eq still works. If you need help p.m me.
Thanks
Mike
