Call me crazy, but i got a free set of 12 inch JL audio W3s. I know logic 7 is great as it, but what a surprise with these woofers installed. It really makes it one of the best sound systems ive ever heard in a car. The highs seem higher because the bass dosent distort at all at high volumes, and if tuned right, the bass is perfectly tight. One would probably be enough, because the lack of trunkspace is a drawback. Also if anyone has a suggestion to stop a slight buzz comming from the rear screen, that would be great.
I will post pics soon.
Thanks
Mike

is that buzz in the radio only? maybe the antennae are involved (in the rear window)

or is it someone honking behind you te make you move over as you're just using the car as a stereo studio and not as a driving machine

The application of window tinting would preclude the antennae from being the source. I hadn't thought of the rear screen as the cause until it was posted here though.

When i raise my screen i get rid of most of the buzz, but then theres just the trunk rattling. I cant get it to stop. Im going to buy some of that sound suppression stuff dynamat i think its called? Ill let you all know what happens when i do.

I just thought of something for you Logic 7 guys wanting to install sub woofers etc. Its not confirmed but I guess the HeadUnit for both the Logic 7 and the normal Hi-Fi are the same. The processing is done at the Logic 7 amp and all speaker outputs are High Out from the Amp. So if the HU are the same you should be able to get Line Level outputs from the HU directly and then feed it into your sub woofer amp similar to how the Hi-Fi amp is wired.

Can you post pictures of the install if you have any? Or pictures that show how the amp is mounted? How difficult is it to get to the line level outs on the HU?

Is there no one who can tell how to install an extra amplifier???
Do the headunit have normal low-level line out or is it some
BMW specific?
Is it posible to use the line out from the original amp?
Anyone???
