I have a 06 530xi with about 214k miles and my head unit recently stopped working and is causing a battery draw. I’m looking at replacing it but everywhere I look is about 2k or 3k for a new head unit. If I get a used head unit will I be able to program it to the vehicle

I have my old M-ASK from when I did a CIC retrofit that I can send you for the cost of shipping. It will need to be default coded to your car, which isn’t necessarily all that difficult. As long as you have the tools set up. If you do not have them set up, it may be a bit daunting.

Yes I should have all the stuff to do it as I’m a tech at a bmw dealership. And if you still have your old m-ask i will pay for shipping if your willing to do that.
