I think its not disabled, its like conditions no met. Try simple thing , reset CIC by holding volume button pressed.

I reset the coding on it recently that should restart the CIC. I will have a look at the KOMBI coding and see if it is hidden in there. But if it was hidden it wouldn't show that screen at all

before retrofit I had the CCC, I don't think the CCC shows oil level.

So you have to dig more, maybe start from Kombi psw_fsw file, seems that kombi sends info about vehicle to CIC.

Seems like there are 2 types of oil sensors on the oil
One which senses low oil level
One which shows the oil levels.

That one that solved by updating ecus?

"Connect 14v 100a power supply to booster connections under the bonnet. Connect the MOST lead to the MOST ring socket behind the glovebox top lid, connect to the ICOM interface, run ISTA/P and reprogram, recode and reinitialise the DME, DSC, EGS, SZL and KOMBI!"

You can flash and code these using k+dcan cable, first read your uif and check with winkfp is there a updates.
