Engine oil level can also be turned off because if you track the car you want a real dipstick instead of a sensor that may be inaccurate.
If you have the oil level in the CIC, but the info does not show up with the engine running, then read the live data display from the oil level sensor on a scanner. If it shows up, then you have to go back and check your coding. Bad oil level sensor will throw a code. . . .
