Next time look at the box closer...
On the box is a line and bar graph indicating gains in hp, torque, and airflow vs. stock.
No disclaimer on testing conditions.

LoL, I was joking. Saying they photoshopped the dyno's.
Hence the picture.

I just have to add, with the stock airbox back in with only 2 days of driving, there is more ease mostly at top end, especially with early mornings with temps in the 50s. I have to admit, I was mesmerized by the sound of the AFE and regret it. another learning experience.

yeah! same here.

I learned a lot lately and much R&D. I tested exhaustively both AFE and Stock on my own. Right now my car is with stock with dual air ducts. the mornings here is about -5C / 28F both are pretty fast. I admit.

Stock = more quieter, AFE = more louder. Gains or not it does not matter. it is personal taste. IMO.

with the airbox and scoop, all I need now is the BMC filter in the future when its time to get rid of the K&N

btw, BMC air filters for 530s are in stock, and the rest are on their way

I have K&N as well, how much better is BMC? more airflow? and does it make more noise?

The difference is probably negligible. Both companies are outstanding, so I'm sure you can't go wrong with either. I had the K&N on my 2007, but opted to try the BMC on my 2008. Both are great.

I don't want to go against anyone, but they offer AFE drop in filters for the stock airbox, same blue Pro-5r and Dry-s material as the CAI's do you think these would be any better than K&N or BMC filters.

I would just do K&N or BMC. How much does AFE want? I paid $40 for my K&N and it has the very famous, 1,000,000 mile warranty that K&N is known for.
