Guys! I am baaaaack! more wood to the fire!
Yes, AFE sucks! I know that. Well, $300 is gone so what can I do? done is done. I never stepped back and it is time to improve it as a project/school/whatever you name it. It is fun! as I did a dual intake, insulators in which I am proud. I really don't care the opinions/no sense joking from others members.
Keep your AFE, Sell/donate it. Hate or love it! It is up to you.
This is a forum! Enjoy it!

This thread is giving me the munchies...

If AFE cannot replicate the dyno on the box and website = FRAUD (imho) and refund due, minimum.
If they can reproduce results with fan and hood up, then we just have to drive with our hoods up.
Seriously, I think it is inferred that the results advertised by AFE was achieved during normal operating conditions and not in an artificially created, unlikely environment. Someone should "encourage" an attorney friend to purchase and install an AFE intake based on the claims on the site and box. After purchase and installation, inform him/her what the real life results are. Maybe then, we get some popcorn action.
Of course, buy 'em a nice dinner after as "misery loves company".

Next time look at the box closer...

If I'm incorrect, my apologies to AFE.
But, I believe a claim was made on site AFEPOWER.com. "They tested it on the 650 and it gained 10whp and 12lbs of torque." If this site is not related to AFE, I apologize again.
Next time I'll keep my 2c and $350 in my pocket.

I sent an email to AFE expressing our concerns and here is their response:
William,
I will be formulating a response and commenting on the thread in the
near future.

I guess we'll wait and see.
