Congrats on your CIC navigation system installation. I am very much interested on the CIC upgrade in my car.

Currently I am driving E60 BMW 525i, 04 model, UK spec with a twist knob kind of heater climate control. I am very sure it is a M-ASK (business non navigation) model. I know that the CIC navigation system could be easily installed in my car. If you don't mind, can you write to me what are the items needed for the installation and how much it will cost.
Secondly,
I would also like to upgrade my standard twist knob heater climate control to the round knob auto climate control. Is that possible? The twist knob heater has 2 connectors at the back whereby the round knob automatic heater has 3 connectors at the back of it..
Please advice.

The hardes part was getting the LCI climate control to work, well it wasnt hard at all, but it requered cutting a wire of the original wiring harness and i did not really want that. But i knew that before i started the project, and its my choice to keep the dashboard as cleanlooking and original as possible.
Do you recall which wire you had to cut? I've been debating this past while on whether or not I should upgrade my climate control unit also with the CIC retrofit. Did you absolutely have to cut it or could you just remove the pin??

Did you order FSC code for your vin-number or from a newer car who have CIC from factory?
Do you know the part number for the CIC/FSC code? I find many codes in ETK, "enabler", "reparation" ++..

I live in the Netherlands and would like to upgrade to the CIC navigation and multibutton iDrive controller on my 2006 Touring.
But have no knowledge how to program and not done such a mod before. Is there anyone who can help or do this?
Also would help to see pictures of the idrive controller installed in the prefacelift facia.
I donot wan to upgrade to the LCI as the ashtray location is important to me (no smoker but havve equipment installed).

also for the Video to play full screen is there a trick? my just play a 4:3 screen in the middle. is it something i need to code?

I just boght a BMW 525d from 2006, I think this is the E60, I want to change the CCC to CIC, can someone helpme to get the parts and how to? I am a mechanical engineer, and can do it my self, but need the Retrofit, the carplay is good, but the CIC is more my thing.
