I'm installing some new trim that I just purchased and need some help.
The dash trim went relatively smooth. But I'm having a problem with the door pulls. I was able to get the door off without too much trouble, once I got past the fear of tackling this job. The DIYs on here were great.
But when I went to install the door pulls the little plastic clips that hold the screws in place are breaking off (They aren't as strong as the oem ones). So now I need some type of clip to replace the broken pieces.
I'm looking for something like this: (Excuse my crude drawing)
Has anyone had to use something like this? Could you point me in a direction to find such a part? Or are there any other alternative solutions that you may have come up with to fix this problem?
A quick run to HomeDepot was unsuccessful, maybe I just need to spend more time looking there.
But I was hoping somebody else ran into this problem as well.
Thanks in advance for any help provided.
