I know that the early E60s had titanium colour interior door pulls and these are still supplied if you don't spec wood.

HOWEVER

if you spec poplar wood, you get poplar wood door pulls....is it the same for maple, spec the maple and the door pulls match or do they revert to titanium colour again.

if you know or have pictures I'd be glad of the reply

You get the "ruthenium" finished door pulls, the surround is er, how can I put it, black plastic

Do you mean the door opener or the big pull trim strip?

I seem to remember seeing a picture somewhere of maple finish on the door pull.

Ah, now I know what you mean - yes you get maple there.

I was getting the door pull confused with the door opening handle. Oops.

phew!

was about to make a mad call to the dealer and switch to poplar which is nearly as nice.....I think my car is going to look better with maple.
