a sound clip or video of a 550i with Dinan or an Eisenmann race exhaust. I can't seem to find one. I would prefer one under load in a take-off mode instead of a stationary throttle rev. I hate to spend the kind of money it takes to get an exhaust w/o even hearing a clip. Obviously, hearing one in person would be markedly better so I would travel within a couple hours of Richmond VA to hear yours if you are receptive.

Please go to youtube and search for BMW Dinan or BMW Eisenmann. There are some on there.

I do have the Dinan exhaust but no dig. video camera. I will tell you that I get countless compliments about the sound of my 550 but no complaints from my wife when crusing on the freeway

I had previously searched 550i and dinan/ eisenmann and found only one which is a stationary rev in a garage. When I searched as you suggested I found zero 550i and a few 540i's. I would guess the 540i is similar to 550i, but for reference would love to hear a 550i.

there were some 545's w/ eisenmann clips on this forum. do a search.
should sound about the same as a 550

I've got the Dinan exhaust. Perfect balance - not too boomy/load, but definitely more aggressive than stock.
