Do you think the m5/mtech hybrid bumper would work in my car?

Like the title says, I'm debating getting some new parts for my car. First up is the M5/mtec hybrid bumper but my car has a few unique options that i'm not sure the new bumper could accommodate without any modification. First up is the PDC which i'm pretty sure is no problem. Second is the nightvision camera which is mounted in the front mesh so I think it won't be that big of a deal...does anyone have this bumper installed with this option? Third i'm not exactly sure how the lane departure warning system works, but i think its in the windshield so it woudln't be an issue right? Just making sure there are no components in the front bumper....could anyone confirm this?

Thats it. If someone can convince me that it should be a simple/direct swap, I will most likely go for it.

Thanks for any help!

Raj, do you mean the Umnitza M5 rep bumper? If so, for sure you can get their bumper with PDC and they do have an option for LCI e60's bumpers including pdc. Not sure how lane departure or the night vision camera would come into play here, but you could always pm member umnitza...

if you are referring to another type of bumper, perhaps an M5 OEM bumper, again pdc would work, not sure about the lane departure and night vision would be different as those options are available on both non M and M e60's so I would think they would work the same...

I am sure other more knowledgeable members will chime in as well...GL

Yup the Umnitza bumper. I PMed them, but they are quite "short" in their responses and haven't answered yet. Thanks

The unit appears to use bolts and you may need to drill a hole for the camera to peek through. How does it look on your current bumper?

This is what my front bumper looks like:

It looks like there is a little mesh cut out that sits in the larger mesh...I would think that would make it easier to install?

Let me know if it will work...If it will, i'll most likely be ordering very soon.

Thanks for your help

It appears as though you will have to custom fabricate the holder for this with the new bumper.
