Change of bumpers on the sport package?

I need some advise about the following: In a BMW historic perspective, are the bumpers different on the BMW cars with the sport package? (Not the case now on the E60 model)
I don't want to buy a brand new car now that will be changed in style on the next year model and therefore get dated very soon. I wonder if I shall take the exclusive package instead?
