Most recent production years use D1S, as far as I heard, but my 07/04 MY use D2S.

Yep. I had bought some Euro headlights from Germany and didn't know there were different bulbs. Had to resell the first set cause it was D1S, mine's D2S. Good thing I found the right model a few months later.
