Do spacers cause Idrive errors??
Just driving around, after almost 1000 miles with spacers, iDrive error comes up with a circle, triangle and "!". It said Drive System Failure, take it to nearest BMW Service Center.
Do spacers cause this issue? Has anyone ever had this problem?
Thanks

Spacers would have ZERO effect on the iDrive. I think you may have other issues going on. Please give some more info re: your issues.
Take them off and see what happens, just out of curiosity...and you might want to leave that detail out if you have to go to the dealership.

hey quick question kinda related to this topic.. if you do put spacers on the car.. (lease) do you have to take them off every time you go to the dealer?? does that void anything? will the mess with me? etc?
would have to take them off I would think...lease end-car needs to be returnd to original way it was driven off as...don't do it mel, it all starts with just a small mod like "spacers"
