You should read this experience of a M5 owner who had the Dinan software.

He had Dinan software but had another companies underdrive pulleys, cant say that Dinans software should work perfect with the pulleys.

I checked with Dinan on the possible complications between their software and the Evosport pulleys and they said it's "unlikely" there would be any power loss due to the pulleys.

I dunno. Call me a cynic, but I think part of the problem is on newer cars (especially non-turbo cars) there's not a lot of power left on the table for just a change in tune in the first place. (Evos are an exception, as from the factory they run pig rich, like 9:1 AFR at WOT at the top end. You can almost smell unburnt gas in the tailpipe after a dyno run, so just leaning out the AFR and adjusting the timing a bit can get you 20hp easily. Part of that might be Mitsu's way of trying to avoid warranty claims too.) That's why I bet all 8hp of the Dinan stage 1 flash is charcoal filter removal and KN filter installation. And the standard mail-in tuner response to allow for variation between engines is to run a bit rich, since someone who doesn't dyno would never notice the difference, and it's safer for the engine to be rich as opposed to lean. And that tune on other cars may run really rich. And for anyone who does dyno, Dinan has Steve's super special magic dyno whitepaper to push off on all who see issue. Don't get me wrong, dynos aren't the whole story. Ideally you would do quarter mile runs at a track pre and post mod (1/4 mile times don't lie), but not everyone has access to a track. Since the numbers on every vendor part site show hp and tq gains they had to measure them on a dyno to show gains.
It's hard to sell mods for a grand (or more) when they don't do anything, or only give a couple horsepower gain. A reputable tuner should just say, oh well, we won't sell a part at the price we have to charge charge for it due to lack of gains, even though we spent R&D money on the part, or mislead a customer with inflated claims, and I hope that's Dinan's corporate policy as well. Thus far my experience with their support thus far does not fill me with confidence in their products however.
I hope my dyno post PROGMAN reversion goes better, but then my issue becomes one with Dinan's support. When a new PROGMAN comes out, why not apply it and redyno to ensure nothing has changed? Instead it sounds like they just say, well, the flash loaded without an error. Touchdown!
Reversion and flash next Thursday, dyno sometime after that. Stay tuned......

Karth,
Logically, if you give more air (more air from the Dinan CAI) to the engine the car should be lean.
In your case, your car is running rich. Why don't you try to install the original program back to your car?
Probably your AFR will hit 14.0
My Dinan CAI is otw. In my case, I can adjust my AFR (lambda) since my car doesn't have catalytic converter. It is special for Indonesian market. Most BMW in Indonesia doesn't have catalytic converter since the fuel quality is vey bad here. Hopefully it works.
