I was wondering if anyone knows if the E39, 540i exhaust will fit our 545? and or what type of modifications/drawbacks to fitting it if I tried? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

They are 2 different cars; maybe you could get only the muffler to work and have some custom pipes bent by a shop?? You'd have to take some measurements though to make sure the muffler fits in there.
