The CIC controller has no motor inside, so no feedback but I can't help but wonder what signals the motor in CCC controller.

true, i opened up the High Controller, and saw that its connected to red + and black - wires, i wonder (just a thought) if u disconnect/de solder at least one of them, if it would disable the haptic? but not sure if it would disable everything else?????? just a cheap longshot

thats a thought, lets just hope that its not the motor that's providing the clicks as well because if you just have a freely knob then the system may become unuseable.

Default dension AVR!!!

Hey guys

I have input at my BMW M5 E60 (2006) the Gateway 500 GW51MO2 and i am satisfied enough with it. I did not have to do any update because my car have the CCC NAVIGATION SYSTEM PROFESSIONAL(S609A),TV FUNCTION(S601A),CD CHANGER FOR 6CDS(S672A) and MP3 CAPABILITY, all placed from the factory.
I want to put the AUDIO VIDEO ROUTER (AVR G5B1) to be able to watch videos from my i-pod in the central screen of the car.
The tv function does not work now, when the car is in motion, and i would like to ask if i put the AVR, i'll be able to watch videos while driving. In other words, with the AVR is going to happen the same as with the tv function? (no videos when i drive).
Additionally, i would like to ask if i need to buy the Gateway enabler tool for GW500S and GW500S BT BMW E series with the AVR.

Do you know something about it?
