has anyone every replaced their daytime running lights with hid bulbs? I dont like the "yellow tint" to mine and wanted to replace them. also what is the bulb size for the fog lights?

 

For which one, LCI or pre LCI?

The bulb size for fogs is 9006

 

I aplogize for the ignorance, but I am not sure which one I have. I have xeon headlights if that helps. what is the difference? Life Cycle Impulse ... fancy name for facelift

No worries. What year is your car?

pre LCI - the DRL is the highbeams. I don't believe HID can be an option. Maybe changing it to a xenon gas bulb with white color.

LCI - the DRL is angel eyes. Some members have tried HID but without success (I could be wrong). Again you change the bulb (H8 type) to xenon.

 

I also have pre-CLI and wouldn't mind upgrading my DRL's too. I have Xenon headlights and regular highbeams (DRL's) and fogs - HEY Brabus, can we get a GB together, what do you say John?

 

The inner beams for these cars will be an H7 bulb which we have in our Xenesis Tru Match bulb sets.
