Hi Eric, got it all finished and operating, as you said the power point on the centre armrest was the answer. I started the car and the camera came on no problem, as it was raining I thought I would just check that the camera was within the arc of the wiper and low and behold the arm which has the 2 bearings jumped of at one side so I'm now waiting on a bearing kit coming of ebay!!! what's going to break next. Its a good job we are retired and self isolating or I wouldn't have time to do al these repairs.
