I'd say get one and throw it in your rear window.
You really have that behind your car? it gives a "taxi" looks to you e60.

Hey...i am just kidding ...or maybe not

I vote for no front plate too. I've got the /M-Aero front bumper and it just looks/flows better with no license plate. IMHO, there is a little bit of a coolness factor to see the ends of a European license plate when the US plate is on top of it -- I'm referring to the rear license plate here.

I noticed that Griot's Garage (www.griotsgarage.com) also sells customized european plates.

In the end, it's *your* car.
Do to it what makes you happy.

Interesting. OK, then B EM DBIA--using numbers it would be B EM 4291.
That works too.......the "B" would make it a Berlin plate

I have the option of adding a front custom plate since the state of SC only requires a rear plate. do or don't?

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PUT ON A FRONT PLATE.

Front plates ruin the look of a car. Any car.
If your state doesn't require them, then there is no reason to destroy a perfectly lovely looking car with one.

Here.... just take a look.
