you can say that, and i agree - but ive had a similar experience.... shops just plain dont care. period. Unless you personally know someone there i firmly believe all they care about is the bottom line.
I have argued with one shop for six months, and gone so far as to have my lawyer send corporate a letter. the response? we would rather spend the ~3 grand we owe you fighting you in court than give it back to you
this was essentially spelled out on a letter from their corporate offices, so it wasnt just one individual trying to be a hard ass on the phone.
