My Ride: 2008 535xi / Platinum Grey / Black leather / Step Auto / Sport / Premium / Cold weather / 18" wheels / Logic 7 / Comfort / ipod / Navigation / Fold Down Rear Seats / Rear Airbags / Sirius SAT / Spoiler / Extended Clear bra / Bluetooth. (Previously owned a 2002 sport 525I Loaded).
On order: 535xi Platnium Grey with Black interior, Step Auto, Sports package, Premium package, Cold weather package, 18" wheels, Logic 7, Comfort access, ipod adapt, Navigation, Sat radio, Rear spoiler, Extended Clear coat bra.
Pay for the job with a credit card and then hold payment because of the mistake and let the credit company deal with it.

I know this is a dead topic, but a bad experience myself makes me want to say.. no matter what, you gotta fight for it
First, I question the shop's rep. I mean, what kind of idiot would paint over CARBON FIBER? Doesnt the painter know it has to be a prepared surface for the paint to even stick properly? Its not like you can just go and spray anything or everything (or maybe you can)
Second, for them to say they will offer a free paint is unacceptable
Three, I hope you went with the CC and disputed it. give them some hassle, sorry but I cant imagine anyone messing around with my car
