when going slow, right? is it a "creak" or a "clank"? either way, try adjusting the top perch mount at the shock mount under the hood. not sure about KW design, but it's probably a bolt and allen wrench ot prevent the strut from spinning while you tighten down.

btw, i noticed you can adjust the dampening on those KW V2's. what's an ideal setting? Also, for the rears, can you adjust the dampening without removing the coilover?

I have mine set to 1 full turn in the front and 2 full turns in the back. Ride is almost as soft as stock sport suspension.

To adjust the rear dampening, you have to remove the trunk liner so it's best if you get it right the first time.

That's good to know as i may consider getting some c/o's in the future for the E60. Makes sense to stiffen the rears a tad more. Do you find it helps reduce understeer?

I can't say with authority that stiffer rear shocks reduced understeer, but after putting on my coilovers... the increased handling ability is like night and day.
