That's exactly the direction I need to take - I should not only compare module trace files but also version with those who MHUD works.

Doed anyone know if WinKFP can update an individual module's software version ?

Just to be clear on a couple things:

- I do not have an M cluster but my M view Hud works in my '07 and '08
- I did make changes in both modules CAPPL and LM2 just as shown in the coding testing results thread

Here are the ORIGINAL files. The changes I made are documented in the NCS Expert Code Mods test results thread. (I don't have a copy of the modified files)

Be sure to contribute to the summary of changes that you are able to validate

Thanks Jim, I'll be populating that excellent thread with some testing I've done. I think it's a good place for validated work.

..and, yeah was always clear regarding your first point you make. Please clarify the second point though- are the changes you made in the CAPPL and LM2 relating to the Mview in the HUD ? or is this just a general remark. Unfortunately I can't correlate anything from that thread relating to the Mview in our HUD to the original files. There is also no mention of the HUD module in that thread which is necessary for Mview. I'm sure I'm missing something here.

My question in essence is:

Is the HUD module the only thing you manipulated to achieve the Mview on your car ?

thanks,

andy

Sorry 'bout that - I had welcome lights in my head.

For Mview I needed to change CAPPL and HUD modules.

Here is my ORIGINAL HUD file.

And I attached my notes where I kept track of my changes and other things I tried. The HUD entries in there are accurate to my current settings.
