YOU LIE. You have like NO chrome on your bimmer! Only your kidney grill does.

P.S. - I model my car after yours. IT WILL look just like it someday soon.
That was pre-166.

sport package = shadowline trim = no chrome

thus, lack of chrome = sporty.

removing all chrome from grills = more sporty

adding more chrome to wheels, eyebrows, tail lights, rest of car = bling but no sport.

Chrome is fine if you want to drive a Lincoln or Caddy, but if you want your car to impart a sports feel, ditch it.

just to name a few of the "usual suspects"

i dont know what its like in virginia, but around big cities THIS

has become an all too common image, which you can see, really weakens chrome reputation

think of it like this

that used to be cool, lets face it, tupac was a gangster
but than it turned into this

same thing, same tat, he went for "that look" but he just looks stupid

i really dont have anything against chrome, or white gangsters for that matter, its just my personal preference, you asked, so i told you

oh and e60 is most defiantly a sporty car, period.
LOL... thats the best way to put it
for me chrome is not the way to go with a bimmer... a chrome lip and an alloy wheel is fine but all chrome is to much... imo....

Drive the 535 or 550 and I think you will agree that the 5 series is a serious sports sedan. I think my 535 has equal parts luxury and performance. I personally think the engine you have is a bit lacking for the size/weight of the e60.

I agree. whats the difference between the 535 engine and 530 engine? I thought they were both 3.0 L?

The big difference is the 535 has twin turbo that produces 300+HP and ~300TQ.

I'm white and 28, single. You have no idea how much vagina this car has brought me in the past 30 days. Thank you BMW. Thank you.
Im white 27 and all the vagina i pull has nothing to do with wether i drive a bmw or 88' K car. When im inside a bar/game/restaurant/store i dont tell the female im trying to get I drive a bmw and she immediatly drops her panties. If your just a dork or douchbag i dont care what kind of car you drive, youre not gonna pull alot of tail. But you will certainly get alot more looks from females while behind the wheel though thanks to BMW.

I have a 530 and its plenty. I went from an Infiniti I30 and its worlds of a difference so far. I sure as heck won't be seen plowing across the streets breaking speed limits so why bother with anything more than a punchy I6?
