" really dont have anything against chrome, or white gangsters for that matter, its just my personal preference, you asked, so i told you

oh and e60 is most defiantly a sporty car, period."

Not sure what white gangsters have to do with rims/chrome? You lost me there. Sounds likes youre saying gangters have/like chrome?

I agree the e60 has a sporty feel to it but to call it a sports car is pushing it a little bit. Definelty more of a luxury sedan imo. ( 8 out of 10 e60 drivers i see are 50 + and usually women) i think mosy e60 buyers are more for the luxury aspect then the sportiness.

the white gangsters thing was pertaining to what happened to the "gangster look" (starting from tupac, like back when chrome was cool, and now both arent so hot)

i see what you mean by the majority of e60 drivers, but the majority of the members on this forum are into making their e60's sporty

oh and im not calling the e60 a sports car, i dont even consider e90's sports cars, sporty as in it has aggressive attributes

I used to have 20" chrome wheels on my truck and they were nice and very high maintenance. I think chrome wheels are more suitable for SUVs.
+1 nowadays I only associate chrome wheels on Escalades or Tahoe's or something like that, they look good on the big trucks. With chrome you have to be very selective on cars because there's a fine line between doing chome wheels right and just plain being ghetto! Ghetto and BMW should not be mixed!

there are some applications where chrome can be done right, but really chrome is past its prime, those days should be long gone.

Drive the 535 or 550 and I think you will agree that the 5 series is a serious sports sedan. I think my 535 has equal parts luxury and performance. I personally think the engine you have is a bit lacking for the size/weight of the e60.

i'd also rather not use the words "sickest, illest, etc..." to describe my $60,000 car. I can tell that I am geting older and my tastes are changing. I used to drive camaros and mustangs with $3000 stereo systems and chrome rims. I see the Chrysler 300s w/22 inch chromes, and I like it but it' sjust not for me.
Sorry guy. Please forgive my lingo. I guess in new england ppl use the word wicked, down south ppl use hot, d.c. area ppl use sick as adjectives to descrive nice things . Please tell me what word would you prefer i use to describe your 60,000 dollar car? "That car is pretty" Is that better to describe your car?
BTW camaros and mustangs w chrome has never or never will make sense to me.

I'm white and 28, single. You have no idea how much vagina this car has brought me in the past 30 days. Thank you BMW. Thank you.

YOU LIE. You have like NO chrome on your bimmer! Only your kidney grill does.

P.S. - I model my car after yours. IT WILL look just like it someday soon.

i think chrome is a flashy "look at me" type of thing, 95% of the time i see 22" chromes on a car, i hear this guy just blasting his little wayne or fat joe ridiculously loud, all windows down, but bmw is more of a "refined and reserved car"

i find subtle mods look the best, which chrome isnt.
This sums up my feelings pretty well. Chrome is flashy, simple as that. When I think of chrome I think of some ghetto kid talking about how bling his wheels are and that's because that mentality has become pretty predominant. You end up seeing chrome wheels on a lot of lower class cars as stated by everyone else. Usually its the guy blasting his rap music to extreme levels so he can get the attention of the whole world and show them how hard he thinks he is. That said I know that is not always the case but it is the more common scenario. It is prevalent enough have made me hate chrome wheels.
