Thanks for the info. Actually, I haven't had the car tinted yet, just visited two different Mr Tint shops.
So if I hold them side by side, I should be able to tell them apart by the difference in how they reflect light, I can try that. Although I'll look like I don't trust them by doing so, I don't want to get taken either.
Any other hints about F1 Pinnacle tint?

Very important.. If the installer is an authorized Formula One dealer/installer, they will provide you with the proper documentatoin and warranties as to the type of tint you are purchasing. I had my Denali done and they even put a Formula One sticker on the driver's side door jamb with the warranty number. That should give you added piece of mind.

You can see that the ceramic has less glare.
Just make sure you buy it from an authorize installer. You'll get a specific serial and lifetime warranty card.
Forums seem to swear by Alvin O's Custom Window Tinting... but I don't know what brand he uses.

In terms of appearance and function what are the benefits of ceramic tint vs a non ceramic tint besides cost?
It sets you apart from the crowd , and in really hot climates keeps the interior very cool.
I got all four windows and back -Llumar.
