Ok, but with an M5 you are often fast, with a 520i you have to get down and push before travelling at an high speed.
My experience with the Mini says when I had 170 HP I was fine with stock brakes and it was rare reaching 80-90 kmh in the city. Now with +40HP I'm often above 80-90kmh and I needed to upgrade brakes (Brembo 4 pots), because in the same situation now I would be faster than before.
In a difficult situation, with the M5 you can be at 160 kmh and with a 520i at 110.
Cars aren't made for the highway only with cruise control on

If you read my statement clearly I was simply correcting his reply that a 520i would accelerate as fast as a M5 past 100mph. Bimmer: when I exit from my garage I use to accelerate fast: if a kid comes out from somewhere, with a 520i you have to brake from 50 kmh, with the M5 from 80. Is now clear? Did you fully understand?

well all im going to say is... i had no problem stopping my 530i from 130mph to slow down with my stock from not going to the jail thanks to my radar detector. you really dont need brembo... spend that money on someting else.

That's because bigger & better brakes don't tend to help you stop that much faster, regardless of the speed. In a single stop, the determining factor for braking distance is tire grip (other than a small difference in amount of time it takes for the brakes to reach maximum clamping force).
The real difference is repeatability for track use: being able to haul you down from high speeds over and over and over again.
