Well, I just hope that we can use the iDrive knob. They only mention the steering wheel buttons. The iPod has a click wheel - hello!?!?!? - the iDrive knob is the perfect mirror of such a control. I am glad to see that the song title will appear - I just hope that they built a proper visual interface - similar to viewing the iPod's screen so navigating the device's contents will be easy.
If it doesn't do these things, then we've been made to wait an awfully long time for nothing even remotely adequate, let alone special.

I am new to the forums. Looking at buying an 07 530 xi. This could be the one that sways my decision to the BMW but I can't locate the news release anywhere except for that one picture I can't get full res on from that link. Does anyone have the press release on an official BMW site? Thanks!
