The speaker under the driver seat is definitely blown. First, is it an easy DIY if I get the part? Second, what is the easiest way to do it? Third, obviously not going to dealer for the part unless it is worth it, but any ideas on where to get the replacement SUB?
Thanks guys!

Should be an easy DIY, but you'll for sure have to remove the seat. Since youre replacing it, Id go with the Earthquake SWS-8, over an OEM sub. Its a vast improvement over the factory subs from what I hear.
I am thinking about replacing mine soon, hopefully to get a little more thump out of the crapy BMW system. I can believe a $65K car brand new doesnt have a top of the line audio system. WTF?!?!?!

I was also thinking of the SWS-8, just not getting enough with the stock. Found any good deals?

ON this topic, I'm hearing an awful crackling sound from (what seems to be) the middle front dash speaker. Can't tell for sure as it cannot be isolated via fader/balance, but what should I replace it with? I'm assuming it's the standard 4 x3", but if not, what make/model would you guys recommend for replacement? Should I go ahead and get new speakers for the entire front? Or all around? Inquiring minds and all that.... Thanks!
