When installing the m5 rep spoiler I ran into problems keeping the corner of the spoiler down on the trunk. I tried heating the corners and using more 3m tape but nothing helped. My question is, Has anyone used betalink k1 adhesive? Will this or any other adhesive help with the corners raising. Thank you.

I used some clear silicone adhesive + 3M tape to hold mine on and it's rock solid
Just remember to tape (with blue painter's masking tape) it down for at least 12 hrs before driving a long way or normal driving. Also it helps to cover it with a towel and put some weight on it to help it keep it's shape and location

Well I decided to use the Betalink adhesive that I picked up from local BMW dealer. It seems very strong and secure. But holy cow was it a messy job. The cleaning solution that was provided came in handy.
DIY pics:
1)betalink k1 adhesive
2)Sand backside of spoiler to rough up the area where adhesive will be applied.
3)Use blue painters tape to use as a template.
4)Use blue painters tape to secure spoiler down on the trunk.
5)Use vice grips to hold down the ends of spoiler.

There's another member on the board that kept having trouble with his spoiler, can't remember if his is OEM or rep. He said he tried 3M as well, but it kept coming up.
I have an OEM lip held together by 3M, and it's been on here for over a year and never any problem.
Wonder if the difference is OEM vs. rep?
