I received my spoiler from Trinity a couple of weeks ago. I took it to the local BMW dealer Collision Center to get painted. When I received it back I noticed the top edge had no paint coverage on it, and was visible when test fitted against the car. So they took it back and repainted the whole thing. Finally after another 3 days it was ready to go. I took the car to have them install it. I thought they would use BetaLink but instead they used 3m tape. Fitment is excellent and very secure, but with the car/ spoiler being black and them using gray tape....the edge of the tape under the spoiler is very very noticeable...so I may take it back and have them re-install it with the BetaLink stuff.
On a side note, for anyone planning to get one of these....as long as Trinity is offering to paint these for an additional 100 bones, let them do it. Nerwyll talked me out of it because he said the paint might not match based on them going off of the paint code only. Sounded reasonable to me....but when I took it to get painted locally, all they did was pop the hood and get the paint code, then I left with the car. Could of saved myself $50 which would of covered mounting, but oh well...just a fyi
I also had them fill the square logo indent smooth for a cleaner look.....anyway on to the pics. I got the car all cleaned up, but it has been raining ever since, so the car is dirty in the pics...never fails
I think next will be rear wheel spacers, and maybe lowering. That should satisfy me for a while anyways.
Always a pleasure to deal with Trinity. Look forward to giving you more of my money in the future, lol. The spoiler is a perfect fit and the quality is excellent.....thanks again guys.
