Well I know my modded 530i is uncomparable to the M5 but look at it this way. My car bone stock with 56,000 miles is worth no more than 24,000 + 10,000 that i spend for the mod. Thats $34,000. I would have to put AT LEAST ANOTHER $10k down to get an M5. We are talking about an additional 10k here at least. I wouldnt want an M5 that is out of warranty or close to it because you cant get extended warranty on those i dont think
Excellent point. I think some fail to realize the actual market price for your car in its current condition. Adding 10K means squat when we don't know what your adding 10K too. I wouldn't want any bimmer out of warrant, let alone an M5.
Great mod and congrats! Post numbers when you get a chance.

I think the SC was a great upgrade... I love sleepers ![Wink](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/wink.gif)
I do hope that idle problem gets sorted out though... honestly, just the sound of the SC I'm sure is worth the investment![Winkcool](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/winkcool.gif)
(and sorry to start the 'your car' vs 545/550 debate) I just was curious lol

pretty cold responses in this thread.
why are people so concerned with how HE is spending HIS money??
OP - from what you have said you have the perfect car minus the HP. You added HP and made this car everything you want and need. Once the idle thing is fixed your car will be 100% perfect for you! Good work and awesome mod! Cant wait to see the dyno results as well.
