I still prefer Hawk products over the EBC. EBC is good though but I don't like how their products are colored. Green brake pads can look weird behind red calipers.

Too much work for me. If I'm buying a product I don't want to have to buy a can of high temp spray paint, paint them, then wait for them to dry, and then install.

That's just me though.

This wasn't meant as a which brake pads are best thread. This was simply my review on the brake pads I purchased - Axxess Deluxe. Nothing more...nothing less. I wanted a ultra-low dust pads and these have fit the bill, so I wanted to let fellow board members (who may have similar requirements) know.

Totally understand. The Axxis Deluxe pads are a great product. Did you break them in properly?

Did you have your rotors turned or resurfaced prior to installing the pads? I'm curious as I recently purchased my 535i and the pads/rotors were replaced before I took delivery. I've put less the 500miles on the car and wondering if I could get away with just changing out the pads and seating them properly?

Didn't mean to high-jack this thread but I was looking at the Axxis pads and there has been some knowledgeable feedback on this thread.
