I've used over 6 sets of HPS pads and none had noise. If properly installed there should be no noise what so ever.

The Hawk HPS pads are much more aggressive compound. Excellent bite and it's more of a performance compound. I wasn't too happy with the noise from the HPS pads though. For similar performance and low dust, low noise features - check out the Stoptech Performance Brake Pads.

I haven't but I'm looking at their website (http://www.mintex.co.uk/en/products-...ds-mainmenu-30) and I can't even find what their pads are made out of.
