This just makes me more pissed! The dealer has a total monopoly here. Closest alternate is like 5 hours away :thumbsdown:

I think that your dealer is quoting you something else besides a 2.5mm input jack in the glove box. You need to get him to show you on-line, or in a catalog, what he is proposing to install in your car. I recevied a similar price for installing an auxilliary input, but when I asked about the high price the S/A told me it allowed the use of USB and other things. Perhaps he is quoting the Accessory Control Module?
