Do you have any pics of the license plate light that comes from the camera itself? Sorry to be a pain in the a$$ but I wanted to see if it's close my LED lights. It's a very cool mod tho.

You must be confused with other product, my camera doesn't replace license plate light with small LED, so it won't cover or reduce light amounts.

Here is Vlad's 5 series with back up camera installed.

This is Back up camera vs OEM trunk handle

just wanted to put in my reply here:

mentholguy did the install on my m5 today and it went exactly as he has shown.....install was relatively easy with exception of some tight clips...lol. the interface kit fit nicely behind the idrive monitor and the camera/handle fit exactly like oem.

great mod for the money.....

tony, do it! you will like it a lot......lol

no, i asked him the same thing. we have to turn off the pdc then inorder to see the video on the whole screen.
(so can't have pdc on right then- its either on the left or off completely)

I emailed Garry Romani (GRomani@bmwofnewport.com) for the E60.net discount price on the Aux retrokit part# 65120153502 and he said $60 plus shipping.. BavAuto.com had it for $79.95.. waiting to hear from my dealer on labor/install price.
I just heard from my SA at Mt.View BMW and he said Labor for the Aux Retrofit is $225.. so with the $60 plus shipping for part# 65120153502 from Garry it will be ~$285 to get the Aux added to those without it..
