I'm running the v6 cables on my Touring since October last year, and so far am very happy with them, no issues whatsoever Knocking on wood of course...
Bruce, thanks for the great cables, the effort, the additional brackets you sent me and I hope you can develop some sort of DIY-fixing instructions for anyone that has or may get a problem with these further down the line!

got my 6.1 cables and am trying to install on a 2008 M5 . Where are you guys plugging the larger Bruce plug into? I see the smalled plug plugs directly into the back of the tailight (after removing the stock plug)...but I don't see the stock plug that the bigger Bruce cable plug plugs into. This seems idiotproof, 2 plugs, I must not be seeing something. lol help

I am having the same problem with cables that are over a year old. I have the V5 and get left tailight failure but my tails are working as normal but the error is damn annoying and comes up periodically. Any solutions? DIY on bypassing error? I tried to get it coded but no luck.
