There will be two types of modules. One for 2009+ cars and another for 2006+ cars. I would think it will work on 2004+ cars as well, but can't be 100% sure without testing it.
When did e60 LCI came out ? As far as I know they did some changes in 2008

I think in the US this is called MY 2008 or later, but I am not sure.

Don't be ... I am pretty sure it will work on your car as well ... I just need to test it first.
