My Ride: 2004 545i, Nav, Logic 7, sport pkg, premium pkg, sport seats, Hoen fogs, rear LED tail lights, super white license bulbs, heated front and rear seats, M-tech front and rear bumper covers, M5 trunks spoiler and finisher. Desiring euro xenon headlights.

I just received my set yesterday, and while I was installing them, I got stumped as to where to mount the heat sink. I mounted the resistor pack on the back of the tail light. I don't want to do the same with the heat sink fearing it might melt through the tail light from the back. Hey G530, where did you mount yours?

I didn't get mine from Bekkers but they are identical - there is plenty of clearance to stick it to the metal body-work under the taillight. Sorry but I didn't take any pictures inside the trunk.

Are these aftermarket smoked or clear? Do they blink amber or red?

Congrats on the lights guys... im too chicken to try it and see if i get an error code!

you can install them anywhere ... doesnt matter really..

I made a post on these lights about a week or two ago and got No replies...

I think Umnitza sell the same exact ones for about the same price as the Ebay ones go for... smoked and regular ones
