Yeah, seems like a lot of people agree that it's better to stay away from the first year of any new model. Guess I skipped class when that lesson was being taught. haha

Less, less ...
Ask to the SMG3 how it likes 1000 Nm : 1k miles and you can put your M5 supercharged in the rubbish : the E60 is developed for 500 HP (thus with 545i supercharged you will not have problems), but not for 7-800 .

Speaking of which, if you guys do get close to 700Nm in your S/C 545/550, you might want to consider switching out the diff for the more robust item out of the Euro-market 745d, as also used in the B5/B6/B7...
You might also want to look at upgrading the gearbox and the brakes.

Hmmm, they must be cranking up the pressure to get that kind of power with just a bolt-on Vortech installation. Gas mileage may turn out to be, um, interesting...

Conservative 6 psi for Stage 1.
I'm sure it'd be great fun, but I'd still be worried about the impact on the rest of the car's durability...

40% power increase with 6psi? Really? Seems ambitious, though not crazy, I suppose.

one of these kits is going on my car when it comes out, I have to have it. I already have one kit on my 328Ci and it's awesome. No one has better integrity and know how than VF.
