let me clarify what i mean a bit more. Lets say you're in the dynavin video mode watching a movie. The car throws up a coolant temperature overheat warning. Will idrive override the video mode to display the temperature warning and chime immediately onscreen? Or will you have to manually change modes?
you'll get a chime and icon on your dash

How easy was to install it? Can I do it by myself? Can you send more pictures? Can I verify oil level and other data as in the oem iDrive panel? Thanks

Ive been researching and in communication with both vendors. I'm in So Cal, and actually really close to Otto Navi which has 3 Dynavin in stcok, I called an asked If i can add an aftermarket sub & amp with this unit, if there is a plug for it and they said no. Has anyone installed this Dynavin and also added an aftermarket sub & amp? I have the plain stock stereo no sub or amp in my 525i and would like a little more umph to my get up and go.

So just got mine installed about a week ago. Still learning the ups n downs. Otto Navi and their techs (Marty) have been super helpful and patiently showing and explaining the system to me. Ill post photos up soon. The price is steep but being able to play Slacker and use the steering wheels control is pretty awesome. Not to mention watching movies n music videos now.
