Aftermarket Headlights

youre better off opening your headlights and rewiring them, its really not hard at all. I bought some heatshrink and rewrapped mine in about an hour while watching a movie. super easy. also took the time to upgrade projectors, halos and black out headlights.
no point of purchasing halogen headlights.

After considering my options, I was able to find a used set in mint condition, no wiring or lens issues so I purchased them. I am curious to know what is required to open them up and perhaps re-wire them. I have been unable to find any specific information as of yet on how it is properly done.

You most likely do not need to re-wire them. You just have to cover the exposed wires.
The headlight assembly is notorious for the wire insulation becoming brittle, in turn exposing the harness wires.

The are two access covers on the back of the headlight assembly.

yea I tried that, had to open the lights a second time until I completely stripped them (which was norhtin more than touching all the wires) and rewrapping them in heat shrink. do it right, do it once.
