Question about adaptive headlights

So my car is programmed for adaptive headlights and I had to replace both the headlights after a small accident and now the new headlights that I bought have no adaptive headlight modules on them so my car gets an error on startup "Adaptive headlight!". My questions is would I be able to order some modules off of ebay and slap them onto my new headlights without going to the dealership to reprogram them? Any help is appreciated, Thanks!
