About to buy some wheels...Need some confirmation!
Hello...
I am about to pull the trigger on a set of 20X9 Style 128 replicas for my 07 525i. The only reason I am not getting the staggared setup is because they only have them staggared in Chrome. Anyway, the set has an offset of +22. Is there a possibility of rubbing in the front? I plan to use a 245/35/20 all around.
Also, I am sure I will need a spacer for the rear. Based on the offset, what size spacer am I looking at. Right now I have a non sport suspension. However, I am actively looking for a used OEM sport suspension setup to install.

It should work, but 20x9 et22 is cutting it close with 245/35/20 tires.
i run 20x9 et 20 with 245/35/20 and i havent rubbed one time. im not saying it will or wont happen with the et 22 im just saying i dont rub at all with my setup. i dont really know anything other than what i have works. the slight difference might screw you over.... let the experts like Frank, and Drlev help you.

What would be a better tire size then? I have searched and I see most of the people here run this size even though Tire Rack recommends a 30 series tire for the front.
and also the fact that lots of folks are also running 35-series.
With my previous wheels, I had 20x8.5 et20 with 245/35/20
tires on the front, which (on occasion) would rub on dips.
My car has the OEM sport-suspension.
