I had my car dynoed today and the results where very bad. the car is down in power over 20bhp.

I've gone back to the dealer and they said they will sort it, i don't know how.

Have any of you guy's had this prob? and did your magnaflow dealer sort it?
Was it the same dyno? Same operator? Was the weather similar? Was the only mod the exhaust? Were other mods done and removed allowing the dme to adapt? A chasis dyno was never made to be a HP measuring device but a device to tune with. I have seen 20 HP differences between runs on the same day.

Does Borla have a system for The E60-63? They never have systems that lose power I thought.

Ya I would not blame this on the exhaust unless you did change the whole exhaust. Atleast you cannot blame this on a muffler alone. I have seen huge variations in my own car getting it dynoed on different days, operaters and machines and it has varied as much as 25whp with absolutely no changes since I had wanted different information at different times in my life with the car. UNless you did add an xpipe or delete resonators etc then the power loss is not from the exhaust. If you did delete resonators or change xpipe than it may be from this.

Supersprint is another viable option which I have. I have only the muffler however and it makes a great sound with no loss in power that I ever noticed.

supersprint doesnt increase hp at all. It just amplifys the stock signal, hence giving better throttle response.

Bummer, I'm still happy with my Dinan but it only comes in single side outlet

The exhaust is TOO free flowing. You need some back pressure to get your power back. You can add a pair of those trick high-flow metal cats to the duals and I'm sure you'll bump right up back to factory specs + 10. If you look at a lot of the exhaust sytems that "DON'T" lose power, you'll notice they are basically just replacing the tail pipe leaving the stock catalytic converter in place or they add an additional restriction in line to replace what they had removed.
