Guys,

just bought this 545i, have done the resi delete and 3'' glass packs on rear, sounds insane now...... as far as cold air intake goes i removed my airbox to see what we have to play with but looks really tight not not much room.

has anybody ran cold air intake pipe from the front bar or anywere for dirct air from outside? been searching everywere but not much luck.

any help would be appreciated. even pics of peoples home made setups

so played around with this... yet to drive it but looking looking at it, looks like it should in theory

ok so gave it a test drive last night....nothing too different, feels like the engine revs a little smoother/harder but my concern is its ideling a little funni now? anyone experience this when changing air filters? and first to second gear change seem to have a slight delay in it

 

it doesnt seem like it should make a difference in idle or gear changing?
