question about rear passenger side
I was wondering if you had to use some kind of heat resistant pads to shield the battery and did you need to modify the space to fit the resignator besides placing them vertical
So I finally got my car back from the bodyshop with the M5 rear bumper installed. Took it over to Speedee muffler in San Jose and had them install the quad set up.
I used a Borla dual in/out 2.25 for center section
- two Vibrant Ultra-Quiet resonators at end of the pipes
- and finished it up with a pair of Nameless Performance Stainless Steel double wall 3.5" stagger tips.
I kept the stock front resonators so that it wouldn't be too loud. If anything, I can always remove those if I wanted to be louder.
Here are some pictures of the install, and progress, I will get the final pictures later after adjusting the tips. Currently the tips stick out a bit too far for my liking.
So this is still a work in progress.

I used some self adhesive thermo wrap, this stuff - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/the-13590/overview/
Did not modify anything else to make the resonators fit.
