the ms8's 8 channels are intended for 7.1 setup. 6 speakers 1 center channel and 1 sub channel. You can try running the 6 inch woofers in series for each door and then using a crossover for the 4 inch and tweets. This would give you 6 channels and a sub, they way that the ms8 is setup I'm not sure that you can use the center channel output as a pair with one of the other channels.

You see... that's the kind of thing that's holding me back

Nelson advise me to run an active crossover using the 2 Tru Amps + trunk amp for sub.
But I guess if we can't figure out how to connect the speakers to the MS-8, we can't do anything, right?, and even following the manual, were not sure if the speakers are connected properly.

I have the Jehnert Door Panels that come with:
four 6' woofers
two 4' mids
2 tweeters

PLUS I bought a center channel + SUB + rear deck.

I would LOVE to know how connect and configure all my speakers on the MS-8, Nelson did it, that's why I'm going to him.

Good post.. sorry to hijacking but I have no factory amp so of thetesa is no amp is there a module on the market to give line out from idrive? I tapped rear speakers but not enough low level 2 them so amp had to be rumped right up and base was still pathetic. Think I need to tap speakers under front seats but 2 screws under seat runners so its a seats out job and I ain't sure it will even work.

you can get at the subs under the seat without taking the whole seat out. Unscrew the bolts and just tilt the seat forward. If you don't have factory amp you should be tapping a high level output from the car so I'm not sure why you wouldn't have enough output. Unless you do have a amp and you are tapping preamp?

Yes the high levels are going 2 the front under seat speakers I think. There was no base tapping off parcelshelf speakers so I assume there mids and have no base..

Ok I think I know what you are saying now. In order to just tap a signal to feed your amps, yes the rear parcel shelf are high/midrange frequencies. To get low range frequencies for subs you must tap into the signal from under the seats (thats where the factory subs are).

Yes so I have no amp and the first generation single slot cd player and non nav 6.5" idrive.

With out an amp and standard speaker system I believe the speakers under my seats are midbbass. So this is where I need to tap my line converter

What side so the under speaker wires come in - can I tap both sides by only removing one seat as in the parcel shelf I could access all 4 wires from the right side hence trying Rio figure if I can save some time on the front who has stripped these out b4 anyone know?
